DUI Law for Drivers, Illinois Edition

Past DUI Guide

I’m finding the act of blogging to be like hollering out into the dark woods, not knowing if there’s a friend out there, or a “haint” coming to get me. My wife asked me what a haint was — she’s from Texas, guess they don’t have haints out there, just rattlers. I remembered the word from an old “Credence Clearwater Revivial” song. They sang a lot about the bayou country. A haint is some conjugation of the verb haunt. The haint is what does the haunting — we can’t see them, so who knows what they are, but dogs know when they’re around.

Anyway, 20 years ago I wrote the book, DUI Guide for Illinois Drivers. For the last two weeks, from 5:00 a.m. till about 10:00 a.m. I have been updating it to republish it with the above title. Still working on whether to self-publish, or find a publisher, or publish on the net, press releases, printer, distribution ISBN, etc. etc. Like I learned years ago, writing is the easy part, selling is the problem.

If there’s anyone out there listening, please say hello. Let me know if you know someone who might be interested in learning how to avoid DUI arrests. And even if you’re a haint, I’d be glad to hear from you.
