If you already have a consumer debt that has been to court and wage deductions have been ordered this declaration probably does not affect you, BUT:
In order for a new wage garnishment to go into effect, the Governor has eliminated steps necessary for a creditor to collect. Effective immediately, during the emergency, if you have a pending debt collection, you are not to be subject to a citation to discover assets summons, and your employer is not to be served a garnishment or wage deduction summons.
