So you think politics is dirty today?

I recently heard a story that beats them all. If you are indigent in Illinois and don’t have the money to bury a loved one, there is a state fund to help. I am speaking of now, that is. Several years ago, in order to save money, our governor and legislature slashed that budget by 85%. More recently they have seen the error of their ways and added to the fund so there was enough money for some such burials — maybe because so many people are leaving the state there are fewer to be buried.
